Homogenous mixtures disolve into each other. Heterogeneous mixtures can be seperated by use tools and experiments. The Heterogeneous mixture is inconsistent in the mixture unlike Homogeneous that are consistent.

A homogeneous mixture has the same appearance and composition throughout. They are usually called solutions. A heterogeneous mixture consists of visibly different substances or phrases.

Heterogeneous mixtures can be separated once they are mixed. You separate them by using tools and can find out what elements are in them by doing experiments. They are also inconsistant. Homogeneous mixtures, on the other hand, cannot be separated once mixed together. These mixtures are consistent.
