Feel the Pressure

Why do you need to be able to convert between kPa, atm, and mm Hg? Shouldn't they be the same thing?

Well, kPa, also known as a pascal, is used to measure the amount of pressure or stress. The mm hg scale is used to measure the amount of pressure something has. They aren't all the same but they do kind of relate to pressure.

kPa is a pascal it is the measure to find the amount of pressure or stress. mm hg is the pressure of something has. They all have to do with pressure and you need to know that in how much pressure a container can take. Also you can work out problems to find how much pressure takes.

They are not the same thing at all they are different by quite a bit. Kpa you use to measure the pressure that and object might have or the stress on that object. You use the mm hg scale to test how much pressure an object has not the amount of stress it might have.

KPA is used to measure the amount of stress. mm hg is used to measure teh amount of pressure. They hae similar meanings, but are different.

They are not all the same thing they are all different in many ways. You use them for different things. The kPa is known as the pascal which we use to find the amount of pressure. The mm is to finding the amount pressure something has.

kPa is measured in the amounts of pressure. mm is measured also in the amount of pressure. They are all different types of pressure there isn't all one pressure.

They all are related because they deal with pressure. They are used to measure the amount of pressure a mass has. They all aren't exactly the same.

Each are very different. The reason we have to change them is because they are measured differently. So if you have 1kPa in the from of atm the atm is much smaller. That is the reason we have to convert them. It is just like with currency. $1 from America could be more or less money in another country.

They are different units of measure that are used at different times. This is why it is important to be able to convert them. It is just like converting Celcius to Fahrenheit.

It is important to know how to convert. You will not always use the same label so you must known how to convert. THe are all different types of measurements and are used at different times.

In away they are that same that they are mesuring presure. the reson we have diffent mesurment are diffent sientests used diffent instramwnts and incraments to do experiments and this way we can be more accurit mesuring pressure

Its all a little different, but it's easy to convert them all together. Some measure pressure and some meausre stress. Not all of them are on the same scale but they do all relate to pressure.

They all deal with pressure. Sometimes you need them to measure in different units of measurements. They are all useful.
