Did you know

Did you know that there is a study which says that students that have done science fair projects are in general better problem solvers. How does doing a science fair project help you to be a better problem solver and how does it show you how to use the scientific method?

It gets you to thinking, what would happen if you did this or you did that. There are many things that help you think about it, like when your doing the project. When you do the project you have first hand experience on knowing about that thing so it could kind of help you with other stuff

I believe that is very true, that science fair helps out as better problem solvers. With this you learn from how you done your science fair wrong or right. It makes you keep guessing and keep on trying to figure out what is the finale result of whats going to happen next. With finding research you learn more about your project and have a better say in your results.

You can see this because when people do a science expirement they are the ones that have to figure out what happened and why it happened. They research there project and have a good idea on what it is going to happen at the end of their expirment. They also have to explain why something happened and if they dont know they need to figure it out.

First off, i dont believe this. I am terrible at science fair projects. Anyway, you could learn how to solve your project just like you solve problems.

In the project I got better at finding information on the internet. I also had to figure out how to get plants to grow inside in as real of an environment as possible. Finally we used the scientific method to find out what soil is the best.

It gets you thinking about things that you don't always think about. It also shows you that if you have a problem you can always try to find the conculstion.

When you do a science fair project you are the one in control. You have to do the project, get the results, and then present what you have concluded. It helps you to understand things better and you are able to make good solutions to problems.

I believe that it is very true. You learn from doing these science fair projects. You have to figure out what and why it happened.

doing science fair projects helps you be a better problem solver by being able to brainstorm and idea and figure out how to make it work the way you want it to. we find research and make it an experiment.

It gets you thinking. It is good. It teaches you the scientific method.

It helps you think and use your brain. that and the kids that probly do sicene fair are probly good problem solvers just to figure out what to do a project on.
when presenting in class we are told just about everything that we did wrong

When you are doing a science fair project, it requires you to think a lot. You need to know what you are doing, and make sure you are doing it right. You have to figure out your results and conclusion. So, I think Science fair projects do make you a better problem solver.

Doing a science fair project makes you think on what you are really doing. You have to think outside the box. And if you know the scientific method it will help you to find out what other problems you have and then you can come up with a conclusion on your project.

It helps that you know the scientific method. I don't think it works though. I doun't think it makes you problem solve better.

It helps you become a problem solver because once you get your results you have to try and figure out why it turned out that way. It also helps because you have to figure out how to keep a control and a variable in your project. This is true and helps everyone.

Doing a science fair project will help you become a better problem solver because you learn how to go at a problem. You learn how to start something and work to solve it. I will have much experience after the 10 years of science fair projects.

I believe it could be very true. I think that it gets you thinking and makes you use a lot of problem solving methods. The people doing the project have to think of how to do the project and why it turned out that way.

It can help you to be a better problem solver because you have to think things out whenever you do your project. You also have to know what you are talking about and understand it. It shows us how to use the scientific method because we have to use it on our science fair boards and in our booklets.

Science fair teaches kids how to solve problems and approach them logically. It's an amaazing thing when science carries over into everyday life. People who learn how to analyze stuff are smart. Always. No exceptions.
