An oxyacid contains oxygen and hydrogen. A binary acid contains hdrogen and one other element. That is the difference. You can always tell by which one has oxygen in it.

An oxyacid contains oxygen. A binary acid contains hydrogen. You can tell an oxyacid because it is the only acid that has oxygen in it.

The oxyacid contains the oxygen and hydrogen. In a binary acid, there is hydrogen and another element that are covalently bonded. If oxygen is in it then thats how u know the difference.
