Reflect on the labs that we have had in the past two days and how they have affected your comprehension of the material?

I guess I never really thought that if you heated Baking Soda that it would actually turn into a melted form. Seeing the burning wool was really cool too. I guess knowing that things like that burn, it makes you wonder what else will.

I never thought that baking soda actually had a melting point. I also never thought of burning steel wool before but it was kind of cool. They were pretty fun i guess.

I thought that burning the steel wool was cool. I also didnt really think that the baking soda had a meltin point or that a powder would melt. I thought that the labs were funand we should have more like them.

I learned more about things I didn't know, like in the baking soda having a melting point.I thought burning the steel wool was pretty cool. I thought it would burn really quick, but it really didn't burn much at all. With that I thought the Mg in the test tude was different in how it change the water color and the shape and color of the Mg.

I didnt know that baking soda melted into a paste when you heat it. When we were burning our steel wool, it took a long time to do.
