Fritz haber was born in decemeber of 1868, he died in january of 1934. He was a chemist that lived in germany. He was known as the "the father of chemical warfare." He won the Nobel peace prize in 1918 also.

He was a German Chemist in the late 1800s. He earned the Nobel Prize for synthesizing ammonia. This was great for the food supply and farmers because it allowed cheap fertilizer to be manufactured. However it also led to more explosives. For this his discovery was both good and bad.
